Whether you are seeking Bowen Therapy, Biofield Tuning, Reiki, or support for your animal companion, my approach is always individualized. Rather than following a routine, I take the time to understand your concerns, observe what your body—or your animal—is communicating, and tailor each session to what is needed in that moment.

    I believe the body has an incredible capacity to adapt and restore balance when given the right support. My role is not to force change but to listen, assess, and provide the support that is most appropriate for you—or your animal—in that moment.

    Whether you're seeking relief from pain, support through times of stress, greater balance, or simply a thoughtful approach to your wellbeing, you'll find a compassionate, professional environment where your questions are welcomed and your individual needs are respected.

Bowen Therapy

  • Bowen Therapy is a unique form of therapeutic bodywork that treats the body as a whole rather than focusing only on a single area of discomfort. Through careful assessment and targeted soft-tissue techniques, Bowen works with the body's natural responses to encourage relaxation, balance, and improved function.

    One of the things that makes Bowen Therapy distinctive is its ability to provide both subtle and more targeted therapeutic input. The movements are precise and designed to engage the body's soft tissues, nervous system, and natural movement patterns. Depending on what your body needs, the work may feel deeply relaxing, subtle, or at times more intense.

    During a session, I pay close attention to how your body responds. At times, pauses may be incorporated to allow your body the opportunity to process and integrate the changes taking place.

    Whether you are seeking support for discomfort, recovering from an injury, managing stress, or simply looking to improve your overall wellbeing, each session is tailored to your individual needs. Many people describe Bowen Therapy as calming and restorative, with the goal of supporting greater balance, ease, and function.

  • Bowen Therapy may support a wide range of musculoskeletal and nervous system concerns, including:

    Every person and every body is unique. Rather than focusing solely on a diagnosis or the area of discomfort, I assess how your body is functioning as a whole. This helps guide an individualized approach based on what your body is communicating during the assessment.

    If your concern isn't listed, it doesn't necessarily mean Bowen Therapy isn't appropriate. Feel free to reach out or book a complimentary consultation to discuss your individual needs.

  • Bowen Therapy is not intended to cause pain. However, some techniques can feel uncomfortable depending on the tension and sensitivity of the tissues being addressed.

    Many people find Bowen Therapy deeply relaxing, while others notice tenderness or a stronger response in certain areas. This can vary from one person to another and even from one session to the next.

    Your comfort is always important. I encourage you to let me know how you're feeling throughout the session so I can adapt my approach as needed. The goal is to work with your body—not against it—to provide the most appropriate therapeutic input.

  • Your Bowen Therapy session begins before you get on the treatment table. I take time to observe how you move naturally, including how you enter the treatment space and how your body is responding that day. These observations, along with our conversation, help me understand your individual needs and how best to approach your session.

    At the beginning of your first appointment, we will review your intake form together. This information helps me understand your health history, current concerns, and any factors such as wounds, recent surgery, or skin conditions that may influence how your session is approached.

    Depending on what we discuss, I may also assess areas such as shoulder and neck mobility to gain a better understanding of your movement patterns.

    During the session, you will lie comfortably on the treatment table while I use Bowen techniques based on what I observe and what your body is communicating. I will explain what I am doing and what I am observing throughout the session, unless you prefer a quieter experience. Your comfort and preferences are always respected.

    A first Bowen Therapy appointment typically takes 60–75 minutes, allowing time for assessment, discussion, and the session itself. Follow-up appointments are generally 30–45 minutes, depending on your individual needs.

  • Bowen Therapy can be performed through light clothing, and many clients prefer this option because it allows them to feel comfortable and relaxed during their session. A T-shirt and light pants, leggings, or comfortable shorts are all suitable choices.

    In some situations, working directly on the skin may be beneficial, depending on the area being addressed and the technique being used. If this is needed, it will always be discussed with you first, and your comfort and boundaries are respected.

    Occasionally, a shirt or other pieces of clothing may need to be adjusted slightly to access a specific area, but this is done thoughtfully and never in a way that feels intrusive. Your comfort, dignity, and sense of safety are always a priority throughout your session.

  • There is no set number of sessions because the way people respond to Bowen Therapy can vary. Some people notice positive changes after their first appointment, while others benefit from additional support over time.

    In many cases, I recommend beginning with a series of 2–3 sessions. The first session provides therapeutic input, while follow-up sessions allow us to observe how your body is responding and help reinforce the changes that are taking place.

    Feeling better after one session does not always mean the underlying movement or tension patterns have fully changed. The body can sometimes return to familiar patterns, particularly if they have developed over months or years. Additional sessions provide an opportunity to support the body as it adapts and integrates the work.

    As your sessions progress, we will reassess your response together and determine what is most appropriate for your goals. Some people complete their care after a few sessions, while others choose occasional maintenance visits to support ongoing movement, comfort, and overall wellbeing.

Biofield Tuning

  • Biofield Tuning is a sound-based wellness practice that uses tuning forks to support relaxation, balance, and a deeper connection with the body.

    The approach is based on the concept of the biofield—the subtle electromagnetic field that surrounds and interacts with the body. During a session, tuning forks are used around the body to create sound and vibration, supporting a process of relaxation and awareness.

    Many people describe the experience as calming and restorative. As the sound interacts with the field around the body, clients may notice shifts in how they feel, including a greater sense of ease, clarity, or balance. Each person's experience is unique, and responses may continue to unfold after a session.

    Biofield Tuning can be experienced in person or remotely, allowing clients to receive sessions in a way that suits their needs.

    Animals are often naturally responsive to sound-based therapies. Biofield Tuning can provide a gentle, non-invasive way to support relaxation, calm, and overall well-being in animal companions without requiring physical touch.

  • Not at all. It is completely understandable to have questions or feel unsure about something that may be new to you.

    I welcome clients who are curious, including those who have never experienced energy work before or who are approaching it with an open but questioning mind. You do not need to have a specific belief system or understanding before a session.

    With your knowledge and agreement, Biofield Tuning can be explored as an experience. I encourage you to notice your own responses and approach the session with curiosity rather than expectation.

    For clients who are interested but feel more comfortable beginning with a familiar approach, tuning forks may also be incorporated into an in-person Bowen Therapy session when appropriate. This can provide an opportunity to experience sound and vibration within a bodywork session before exploring a dedicated Biofield Tuning session.

    Rather than forcing change, Biofield Tuning works with the body's own feedback and response. Many people describe feeling calmer, more grounded, lighter, or more connected after a session, while each person's experience is unique.

  • Your Biofield Tuning session begins with an intake conversation. This allows me to understand your health history, answer questions, and identify any factors that may influence how the session is approached, such as the presence of a pacemaker or other considerations.

    Before we begin, I explain what you may experience during a session and invite you to share what you are noticing if you wish. Some people experience sensations, emotions, relaxation, memories, or shifts in awareness, while others may not notice anything specific during the session. Both experiences are completely normal—every person responds differently.

    During the session, you can be seated, lying down, or positioned in whatever way feels most comfortable for you. Tuning forks are used as part of the process, creating sound and vibration while I observe and respond to what is presenting.

    A typical session is approximately one hour. A first session may take 60–75 minutes to allow additional time for intake, questions, and discussion.

    After the session, we will take time to talk about your experience and anything you noticed. I also follow up with you several days later, as some people notice changes, insights, or memories surfacing after they have had time to process the session.

    There is no right or wrong way to experience Biofield Tuning. The goal is to create a space where you can listen, explore, and notice your own response.

  • Yes, Biofield Tuning can be experienced remotely. For many people, the idea of receiving a sound-based session from a distance may feel unfamiliar, and it is completely understandable to have questions.

    Remote Biofield Tuning is based on the concept that the biofield extends beyond the physical body and that sound, vibration, and intention can be used as part of a distance-based session. Practitioners work with a representation of the client, often referred to as a holographic representation, while using tuning forks as part of the process.

    Many people who experience remote sessions describe them as relaxing, calming, and supportive, with some noticing shifts during or after the session. Just as with in-person sessions, each person's experience is unique.

    Before a remote session, we will connect to discuss your intentions, answer any questions, and create a comfortable space for you to receive the session. Afterward, we can discuss anything you noticed and allow time for reflection and integration

  • Yes. Biofield Tuning can be offered for animals both in person and remotely. My approach is always animal-led, meaning the animal's comfort, communication, and response guide the session.

    During an in-person session, I allow the animal the opportunity to investigate the tuning forks and become familiar with the sound before proceeding. I observe their responses and adjust accordingly. Curiosity, relaxation, and willingness to engage are positive signs that the animal is comfortable with the interaction.

    Animals communicate in many different ways. Some may relax, become quieter, show curiosity, or bring attention to an area where they are experiencing discomfort. Others may simply choose to observe or take space. All responses are respected.

    Remote sessions can also be provided, with the approach adapted to suit the animal, their environment, and their individual needs.

    A thorough intake is an important part of working with animals. Certain considerations, such as sound sensitivity or a history of seizures, need to be discussed before a session. Because animals often have more sensitive hearing than humans, volume and environment should always be considered carefully.

    Animals are active participants in their own wellbeing. My role is to provide a supportive experience while listening to their cues and allowing them to engage at their own pace.

  • Biofield Tuning is considered a gentle, non-invasive approach and is suitable for many people. As with any wellness practice, safety begins with understanding the individual and approaching each session with care, awareness, and respect for appropriate boundaries.

    Before a session, we review your health history and any considerations that may affect how the session is approached. For example, tuning forks would not be used directly over areas such as open or healing wounds, and if you have concerns related to a pacemaker or other medical devices, it is recommended that you speak with your healthcare provider for guidance.

    As a practitioner, I believe in working within my scope of practice and recognizing when additional information or support from your healthcare team may be appropriate.

Reiki

  • Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy-based practice that may be offered to both people and animals. It involves the intention of supporting relaxation, balance, and overall well-being through the use of universal life energy.

    Reiki works with the concept of universal life energy, supporting the body’s natural ability to restore balance and harmony. Many Reiki practitioners believe that energy can become disrupted by physical, emotional, mental, or environmental stressors, and that Reiki may help encourage a greater sense of calm, connection, and inner balance.

    During a session, Reiki provides a quiet and supportive space to relax, reconnect with yourself, and support balance on physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels.

    Reiki is a complementary wellness practice and is not intended to replace medical care, but rather to work alongside other approaches that support your overall health and well-being
