Scars are a natural part of the body’s healing process following surgery, injury, burns or other trauma. While many scars cause little or no concern, others may remain sensitive, tight, numb or uncomfortable, or may be associated with changes in how the surrounding tissues move and feel.

Because the body works as an interconnected whole, the effects of scar tissue may not always be limited to the area of the visible scar. Areas of restriction may sometimes contribute to patterns of tension, reduced movement or discomfort elsewhere in the body.

McLoughlin Scar Tissue Release (MSTR®) is a gentle, focused hands-on technique used with fully healed scars. Using light, responsive work, the technique focuses on the scar and surrounding tissues without forceful manipulation.

The scar may be visible. Its influence may reach beyond what you see.

MSTR® Scar Tissue Release may support
